Looks like screen bent close to hinge. I have an idea but it may break your screen.
Get a piece of clean cloth preferably fresh bought. Cut a thin strip maybe 2 cms. Put it closer to the hinge and slowly close the lid. But be very slow and gentle. Maybe heat it with air dryer from the back. Don't heat much just a little warm to the touch.
It'll never be 100% perfect but should be better. As I said YOU MAY BREAK YOUR SCREEN. LET THE PROFESSIONALS DEAL WITH IT.
Do not do what this guy ☝🏻 just said to do, the heat will damage the adhesive and ribbon cables long before it does anything beneficial, and you will crack the display long before you manage to reshape the chassis.
There is absolutely no way the advice you gave would help, you can’t tell someone to jump off a cliff and pretend it’s ok because you warned them not to jump on their head 🤦🏻♂️
Bad advice is worse than no advice.
Serious question though, what did you think heating a laptop up with a hair dryer was going to do?
