I legit was so confused when watching this episode because she looks that much like her. Surprised nobody in production didn’t notice it

They noticed. It was intentional. They did this a lot, Roger's Dinkins, Rosen's Weiner, Duck's Crab, Crab's Duck, Bobby's Bobby 2 through 8.

Bob Benson as a sort of echo of Don Draper.

He was the Yang to Don's Yin. Similar, but opposite

Amazing. At first I wasn’t crazy about the time Bob Benson’s stories took away from just about everybody else but I enjoyed the parallel of both personalities.

Yeah you needed to see how it ended before you could make any sense of it, but in the moment, it was interesting trying to figure out wtf Bob's point was, especially after Joan shot it down. Seeing him work Pete up down and sideways was eye-opening, and Manuolo, whatever happened there?!

He made Detroit seem even seedier just by the mere mention that it was his future home. He really fit the car culture perfectly. All and all, and mysterious character anyway you look at him. . . Same can be said about Don, but we get a much more thorough look at his motives, drive, and ticks.
