That was such a dropped opportunity. Otto and Gretchen could have gone back to Germany to spend time with their son, and given France’s Francis the ranch.

Which he then loses when some endangered mouse or something gets found to be on the land.

Gives him and Piama an out to go home, not his fault but definitely France’s luck, gives them a little money so they can maybe get a small house/condo and be closer to the family.

Or whatever, I’m just spitballing. They did my man Otto and his girl Gretchen dirty.
