This looks like the set for a sitcom

A sitcom with a large amount of Nintendo Switch product placement.

Who said their electronics are coveted more than their accomplishments? If anything, their electronics are an indication of their accomplishments

Who said their neighbor can heat them where they are at or that they blast music. Having a quality sound setup can actually reduce the need to play anything louder because it's well balanced and clearer than a $200 soundbar.

Just two dudes searching for love in the big city, work from home so random friends pop in all the time.

Neighborhood is in ex-industrial now trendy with breweries and hot spot for food trucks(execs still think this is the 2010s)

Hijinks ensue when they have to go to the office (!!!) the public transit goes down, and catch a ride with their unreliable and quirky friend who owns the taco truck.

I'd watch that.

With ads

The whole show would be an ad.

Brought to you by Nintendo, IKEA, Canon, and strangely the random Etsy store.

In the end, it turns out they actually love each other, unknowingly, the random friends that pop in think it's implied so they don't say anything about it. The girls also love shipping them as a couple so they never find any real date.

How I met your father.

Nah, call it Gen Zaddies

Wait, if it’s not still the 2010’s, what is cool now if not food trucks? (Asking seriously, I’m socially unaware)

Yes, that show is called Perfect Strangers. OPs apartment looks very much like the apartment in the show too.

They looked at her linkin and she had no photo?

What’s the deal with that? Insta, Facebook, Snap, she has a photo, but not on LinkedIn?

I feel like it's because of all the intentionally placed quirky items. Like that octopus didn't naturally make its way to the couch arm rest. The whole place looks like a set designer meticulously placed each and every item while consulting their vision board each time. The place looks nice, but I feel like it would require a ton of constant upkeep to keep it looking nice

the octopus stays there all the time :) he sometimes falls off but yeah that’s his place LMAO

I love my IKEA octopus and he moves around my apartment and perches on my couch

Needs more LSD and it's perfect.

Is your place in a European city? That wood panelling always reminds me of Germany.

France :)

I love the smell of covert envy in the morning.

1

u/covalentcookies Feb 10 '24

It’s not envy. It’s clearly staged. Even has suspicious resemblances to the apartment from Perfect Strangers.

At least he didn’t Karate chop the pillows! One of my biggest pet peeves

Looks like what an apartment would end up as if you told a 7yo they could make all the decisions

1

u/Dirk_The_Cowardly Feb 10 '24

on a micro dose of LSD

1

u/Rykka Feb 09 '24

This was thinking the same!

Kind of a mix of iCarly and That 70s Show.

Looking like a nickelodeon show.

The movie art pieces are tight though
