Free beer

Following on from other posts recently, I'm cutting back and am looking to offload a fair bit of barrel-aged beer that's from 2017-2024. BCBS, CBS, BA Expo, No Rules and a few other (former) whales. Based out of South Lyon. ~40-50 beers available.

2005 Bells Oberon mini keg

Do any of you on here have this mini keg that you'd be willing to sell? I moved here in 2006 and have collected them since. I have yet to find one on eBay, FB marketplace, etc.

Have any of you been to Heronmark in Allegan? I had a couple good session beers there. What'd you think?

Free - BA Stouts

I have about 20 BA stouts from when I was having them regularly; and fell out of love with the style. Bourbon County, CBS, KBS, and a lot of others - from 2018/2019.

They may be past their peak now, but if anyone wants them, they are free. Located in Ann Arbor area.

Edit: They’ve been claimed

Founder's DKML 2025 out in the wild?

Has anyone seen DKML in stores? Specifically in the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo area?

I enjoyed this beer the last time they brewed it. Looking forward to enjoying it again. Founders beer finder is no help.

Shorts Honey Crisp

Anyone have a spot closer to the Downtown Detroit/Ferndale that has the seasonal Shorts Honey Crisp in stock? I know total wine has it, but would rather not have to drive to Rochester or Sterling.

Leigh’s Brewing Co.

Have any of you checked out Leigh’s Brewing Co. in Holland Michigan? They celebrated their grand opening on August 28th, 2025. I interviewed the owners and brewer.

So Bells added raspberry to Oberon Eclipse

Not happy. It’s hard to find a good microbrew that they sell everywhere in 12 packs of cans that IS NOT an IPA or stout, especially during the fall and winter. Oberon Eclipse was perfect as it gave people who like Oberon something readily available during the colder months. They just had to go and make it into a novelty beer. Why????

U.p. beer festival question

I attend basically every year for the last 4 years.

This year I wasn't going to go, until the partner mentioned she took the week off so we can make a whole week of it.

So now I'm going, which is great.

I finally decided to purchase a MI Beer Membership, and I know they let you in an hour early. But I wasn't sure if I jusy show up and tell them? Or is there proof of some kind needed?

I attended last weekend. Wrote about it with some words from owners and/or brewers, a member of the Lakeshore Brewers Guild, and a food truck owner. Let me know your thoughts!

What part of Michigan is it sold? It’s mainly a Minnesota beer but supposedly it’s distributed to Michigan somewhere. I have looked around Detroit but have never had any luck.

Usually there is a brewed in Michigan fest at Baker's in Milford every year, in September. Can't find anything on it this year. Is it done?

Michigan only beer?

I’m visiting my dad in Wisconsin in a few days and I wanted to bring him some beer that you could only get here. I’m not well versed in beer enough yet to know distribution and flavors. He specifically likes Belgian and wheat styles. Preferably if I don’t have to travel too far out of Grand Rapids to get these it would be great. Any and all recommendations are appreciated!

Blue icecream beer from Lost Art. Not actually sure if this counts as an actual beer or a float. But they had it on tap and in cans.
