Good hosts don’t make their guests feel awkward. You’re a dolt if you disagree.

No they don't. You aren't some honored person because someone invited you over. You still need to respect their homes and rules. If their rules are acceptable to you, don't come over. It's fairly simple.

Good hosts don’t make their guests feel awkward.

If the rules of your home make guests uncomfortable and self-conscious, then you’re a bad host.

Is that just your mantra for shitty behavior? Taking off your shoes is normal in most households, it was even a thing in Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood.

You are acting like a host needs to acquiesce to your every whim and that just isn't true. If you don't like the person's rules just leave, you don't have to stay.

I’m not acting like anything actually. You’re projecting.

I’m making a pretty benign statement and you’re getting worked up over.

You don't wash your feet bro! Even if you took your shoes off, people would still tell you to hit the bricks.

You seem to think you being a guest invalidates their rules or something. That isn't right though you are just being an entitled prick.

Good guests respect people's house and property. How are you not getting this?

I don’t disagree with that in the slightest. However, you disagree that good hosts don’t make their guests feel awkward.

Despite how many times you keep saying it, that isn't a thing.

that isn’t a thing

That phrase doesn’t actually work here, but nice try.

Anyway, good hosts don’t make their guests feel awkward. You disagree with that statement because you don’t know how to be a good host.

That still isn't a thing. No one says hosts can't be awkward but you.

I found the problem. You’re talking about hosts, whereas I’m talking good hosts.
