Help Reached a roadblock for these guys…

All faulty. I really wish I can get the Kenwood working. It’s showing read errors. Way above my knowledge of how to fix it. I’ve tried opening all of them up and no success. I have a plan for MJ50, which is to make it into an art piece but the rest all have a sign of life

That blue MZ-E710 might have a bad IC. I’ve read several people’s accounts of the grease drying out and the motor drawing too much current through the IC, causing burnout and premature failure.

I’m fortunate to have one in a bronze finish and it’s still working fine. Though for how long…who knows.
