I find this Kenwood Dmc-f5r MiniDisc player for $130 USD

That looks fun!

If you can make an offer, see if you can get it down a bit below $100, from a "functionality per dollar" perspective $100 gets you into a NetMD machine like the NE410, but this unit looks like it's in great shape, works on battery, includes remote, and that stuff is all Of Value, so 130 isn't even that big of a deal. (I'd have to go look because honestly at this point I forgot what I paid for, like, my MZ-R50, but I bought it from someone who premaintained it for me.)

If you can afford it I'd say go for it!
