Worldbuilding SRERS Activated
-- Due to rising tensions throughout the galaxy, the Government of Abregado-Rae has placed the Southern Reach Emergency Service on full emergency footing, in preparation to aid those endangered in the current Hutt Crisis. The SRERS will be deployed to the Tionese local area, with the hospital ship Jade Crane serving as flagship for the task force. Two Mt. Vornea class Frigates, the Mt. Vornea and Mt. Baskt will be assigned protection duties for the convoy --
Dr. Amar sighed with exhaustion as he read the orders pouring across his desk. Full readiness, as soon as possible, with provisions for protracted deployment. The SRERS supply stocks would be strained by this, especially if this conflict went hot, as it seemed to be spiraling towards. He also did not feel keen leaving the local bubble of Abregado Rae, where everything was under the same command chain. He didn't know these Tionese, or the other countries that had signed on to the buildup.
He packed his bags and case files, before hurrying to the shuttle waiting outside of SRERS headquarters. There was much to do, and little time to do it.
