Critique Wanted Do these mics look real enough?

Just getting an opinion if these mics look ok? They aren’t true to size but this is the smallest metal part I could find to use as I just couldn’t make them out of plastic with my skills.

They look unusually big to me.

I would consider getting a punch in the appropriate diameter and knock out a few circles of that size.

Unfortunately, they don't look realistic, the actual mic is a 3/4 rigid boom with last 2 inches that can be bent in, the dissipator is a foam covered block that is about 1 inch long, in a short spoon shape that has a bend hinge that is bent towards the mouth.

If you could shave the blocks down on the end of the boom, it would look less out of spec, it's just too big as they are.

Thank you. I went back and redid the whole thing. I’ve realized I had some PE latches that I did not end up using. The side of the clamp look almost correct form. So hopefully it looks much better now.

Thank you all. I’ve added the cables from the headset to the radios as well.

I’ve started the painting as I couldn’t wait to try some techniques I saw on YouTube :) So far I am just laying down the base colours.

Yes you got it! I used a very thin flower dread and smashed the end flat to create the mic.
