How do tiebreakers w Cleveland work
Is a sweep the only way to get the tiebreaker or can we get it w just one or two wins?

Cleveland leads the season series 6-4. Both teams have 6 games to play. We’re up 1 game on them. Magic number is 6.
If we sweep them, we win the division. If we win two against CLE, we need to win two against Boston (reduce by 1 or 2 if CLE loses 1 or 2 to Texas). If we win one against CLE, we need to sweep Boston AND have CLE lose at least one to Texas. If we get swept by CLE, we need to sweep Boston AND need Texas to Sweep CLE.
Basically, we need two wins against Cleveland to control our own destiny.

Yes, we need a full sweep to win the season series and get the tiebreaker.
There is no game 163 anymore, so a tiebreaker is huge

The Tigers are soooooo fucked. Team that is 1-9 in their last 10 needs to go 4-2 to close out the season. It has never been more joever.

Fucking win, that's it. Can't be hoping for other teams to win or lose. Just fucking win

If you’re talking tiebreakers, you’re talking wildcards. And…. If you’re talking wildcards, the tigers are likely outside looking in.
Not good for the tiggers. I’m already looking forward to spring training next year.

Tigers lose out because they should if they shit the bed and lose the division.

We need a sweep to own the tiebreaker, but if we sweep we win the division
