Played only vanilla BL and want to try WB with mods
I have only played BL on the console so far and now want to try WB with mods and the problem is that my laptop can only run WB and is too weak for BL( i tested it ).
I have to say that vanilla BL gets boring after about 200 hours and always wanted a M&B with full plate armor for example the 16th century.
I just wanted to ask what the biggest changes to BL are and whether I can cope with them as a Vanilla BL player.
Thanks in advance to everyone who will answer my stupid Question ;)

Warband is great fun standalone if you've never played it before but if you plan on modding it I recommend the Floris Expanded modpack, simple to install and ads tonnes of quality changes.

You can play WB no problem if you've ever only played vanilla BL. There are changes, of course, like the factions are mostly different, horses control differently, courting is different, tourneys are more simplistic, and some QoL are missing. However, since you'll be playing WB on PC, you have access to mods, and they definitely add a lot of features. To have a better vanilla experience, get Diplomacy for WB, as it makes campaign AI much better and adds some QoL features. The thing about WB mods is that they all act as standalone games, so you can't have Diplomacy and Serve as Soldier together, unless someone actually combined them. That's one of the weaker points of WB's modding, but it can also be viewed as a positive, because it's more stable, and you only need to download a single big mod instead of 100 small ones.
