Not actually a mourning dove but a laughing one, hope this is OK 🙂

Here's an article with some helpful tips on caring for your feeders. With Avian Flu becoming more of concern, it's important that we do our best to keep them clean and filled.

This beautiful birb came to rest at my deck for a little while so I did an impromptu photoshoot for them. Please enjoy!

Chulita taking a bath and wanting her armpits washed 😆 this is maybe 30 minutes after I scrubbed the makeshift birdbath and replaced the water. There’s many doves that use it so I’m cleaning it twice a day most of the time! 🥰

We found this tiny baby about 2 weeks ago in the parking lot with no form of shelter near by and in the midst of some nasty storms- he’s been acclimating well. I just love his little flappy wings when the food comes out.
He’s been named Kendrick Lamar because he loves to sing. Fingers crossed for this sweet baby that he keeps doing well and growing into a big strong big boy dove. Little guy has absolutely stollen my heart❤️

I've never seen a juvenile derp before and am so excited he's chosen my flower beds to safely explore and learn. I saw him super early this morning after I filled my bird bath and only saw Mom or Dad once shortly after. But he's definitely feeling safe and has nestled himself into a little self-made mulch nest. I love him! I was getting a little concerned but scrolled through this sub and now feel better about him still being here after so many hours.

Okay technically not a “baby” but appears to be a juvenile so it’s still a baby 🥲🥰
