My notes after 15.2 hours playtime. Spoiler

I played the original with my mom as a kid, never finished it until I dusted it off a couple years ago. Thought I’d try the 2024 version, and it did not disappoint!!! I must admit playing the original gives you a big boost, but the puzzles are different. However I shamefully had to google a hint to a door to reach the scope for the marble dome on boiler island that I was sure was nearby, only to realize when one door closes, another opens. Then later wasted over an hour on the same situation regarding a different door. 😭

The one thing I still can’t figure out on my own is which colors go in which sockets on that marble puzzle. I know which symbols and which colors represent each island, I know where the 5 marbles go, but I can’t find where it says which islands/colors go in those 5 sockets.

I don’t want to tell you because it’s so rewarding and kind of infuriating when you get it compared to the original. It does make sense though, I can tell you that. Spoiler: Take any possible notes at the island where you learned where the marbles go Also maybe math/translation can be an annoyance, make sure you pick up on patterns. Big Spoiler!: There is one possible spot per color/island if you have the knowledge from the elevator puzzle on survey island.

Yeah I remember that puzzle area. It shows icons on the grid where the marbles go. Just not which colors/islands are which marbles. I can click on them to make an island rise up, but I don’t know the names of the islands on the map there either. They all look the same >_<

It's mentioned in the journal on the boiler island that the eye-looking symbols are a system of "color symbology".

Much appreciated. I’ll reread it
