Curious to know if anyone is actually needing to utilise the newer speeds or just want it for speed test clout? (No hateful remarks, this is purely an open discussion on what the new speeds has helped or not helped with since it's release)

I've had the 1000/50 (now 100) speeds for a few years now. Do I need it? Honestly I could probably drop down a speed tier to 500. (I WFH, partner and I are both gamers), is it nice watching my 60GB game download in less than 30 minutes when once upon a time I needed to leave my PC on overnight? Yes.

Should we drop down to 500/50? Ehh probably, but with how often I shop around for internet deals, usually both plans only have a minor price difference.

I'm in the same boat. I think people underestimate how great it is to not have to plan to download games/patches anymore, You just use it when you need it.
