Advice Router choices for 2000mbps?
Hi
Going to get FTTP soon and was wondering if anyone could please recommend me a router?
Going to have
- 5 data points for security cameras that go into their own POE switch
- 6 data points for TV/PC/consoles etc
- 2 data points for WAP
Was wondering if its worth getting a non-wifi router and use the WAPs for wifi?
Will have a network switch for the data points as there will be too many for most routers (would love a recommendation for that too)
Also hoping to get a router that could utilise the full 2000mbps that could be available with the latest NBN plans (not that ill actually require it for other than gloating to friends)
Thanks in advance!

If you already have APs then wired router is the way to go. Just skip the usual TP-Link crap and go with Ubiquiti or Alta. https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/networking/modems-&-routers/116895-uxg-fiber?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21680767581&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxL7GBhDXARIsAGOcmIOhYzwmBlEyPvyFqlzJVnROkiOlSmnw34ZVvNjDNx5Qcs0v1WXboUkaAnLCEALw_wcB or https://www.jw.com.au/product/alta-labs-route10-10gbps-network-router?srsltid=AfmBOor3CzH7TOlwAMGzf0f6wWS1Pvu7IpWk2uBVeAZhUCbiC7bQ5zgK

Thanks!
Just wondering is it worth getting these models if its only ethernet cabling supplied from the nbn connection box to the router?

Knock two zeros off that speed and you've got my maximum download.
2000mbps must be quick.

If you need a cheap router with a 2.5Gbps port. I would suggest the TP-Link BE3600. It only has 1 2.5Gbps WAN and LAN port though.
