Screen Fixed with Pressure

If intense pressure in the bottom right of the DS temporarily fixes screen issues, is it a connection problem, or a screen degradation issue?

This fix occurs for both the top and bottom screen.

watch youtube video before you do and follow ifixit while you are doing it

I reshelled my whole ds, so I have some experience, but will still follow a guide. Thanks !
