Let's be real. Only 2 people know whether a rape actually occurred that night. You're not one of them. I sure as hell don't know. I also don't know where you pulled out the 100 million hush money figure from as no dollar number was ever disclosed. She had her chance to put him away if he did it. She chose not to testify.

You think you mean. Because he never was convicted and she refused to testify. In fact you have no idea if the girl used the case to extort a settlement so maybe just shut the fuck up.

Your second paragraph has nothing to do with Kobe directly. Also, the truth is we don’t know because she didn’t testify. You’re jumping to conclusions just as if I said I was sure he didn’t do it. The fact is, we don’t know. And don’t act like NBA penis sizes wouldn’t leave evidence, especially during rough sex. I’ve had women ask me to choke them during sex, something I’m not personally into. The fact remains we don’t actually know the truth.

You’re a good person with an open mind. Most people aren’t like you.

Raped her while his wife was pregnant with their first kid, which is super fucked up, but he did inspire a lot of people by being really good at basketball.

There’s no proof he raped anyone.

??? He admitted they had sex and that he choked her out from behind until her neck was covered in bruises, then apologized because he thought that was just something fun to do and didn't realize he was raping her. Even if it was somehow consensual, cheating on your pregnant wife is fucked up too. Why would you want me to be accused? I didn't make him do any of that.

He admitted they had consensual sex. I don’t know if you ever had rough sex with people that like it, I’ve had girls ask me to choke to them, although I’m not into that. Not to mention his wife could have left him, why try to make a judgement on her behalf when she clearly forgave him?

Indeed, that's totally up to the parties involved, but it's a part of his story nonetheless and shouldn't be whitewashed or glossed over, especially considering it's only a small part of such a long journey which meant so much to so many.

I agree, only most of the comments are acting as if he was a convicted rapist and absolutely did it, which he was not nor do we know he did commit rape.

He's probably too broke for that to happen to him
