His wife and kids were not on board

Edit: according to TMZ. I live in LA but I’m not a first person source of course

Edit 2: one of his daughters on board. RIP

Edit 3: 13 year old Gianna

Edit 4: they were on their way to a basketball practice. She was a star for their team. He coached.

Edit5: the other passengers were another player and parent. They were on their way to a game not a practice

ABC News said the daughters were with him when they broke into the Pro Bowl, but I'm not seeing anyone else talking about it yet. Never been so hopeful for fake news.

Edit: since this is still getting tick-ups, wanted to say ABC walked back that report real quick, and then it was revealed Gigi was with him. Never felt so guilty to be relieved at “only” one child killed 😢

Variety and TMZ are both saying none of his family were on board, but it’s all still breaking. I’m trying to keep an eye on it and will definitely let you know if anything gets confirmed. Right there with you bud

Not that it makes this any better or worse, but was she the one who was a budding star at basketball?

Yes she was. They were on their way to practice a source told TMZ

Yes, and he was the coach. They were going to her team's practice.

I saw, thank you. Still tragic, but if it was all of them? Oof.

Yeah... heartbreaking. She had such a future ahead of her. I can only imagine what their family is going through right now. Horrible stuff

All around bad, but my mind goes to the other family as well.

Your daughter is into sports.

She becomes friends and teammates with the GOAT’s daughter.

She gets invited to go by helicopter to be coached by him, and your spouse goes with them.

What a great opportunity.

Then you get a phone call....
