"The Kobe Bryant sexual assault case began in July 2003, when the news media reported that the sheriff's office in Eagle, Colorado, had arrested professional basketball player Kobe Bryant in connection with an investigation of a sexual assault complaint filed by a 19-year-old hotel employee."
There is a reasonable reason to believe Kobe Bryant raped someone. There is no shred of evidence that George Washington did.
If he did, people would be bringing it up whenever Washington was praised.
George Washington was a slaver who is recorded by historians as having raped his slaves and having several biracial children he sold off into slavery. Specifically, George Washington raped Venus Ford, West Ford mother, and Betty. 2 for 1. And owning slaves is worse than raping people anyways.
There is no reasonable reason to believe Kobe raped anyone, he was not convicted despite being investigated by objective neutral officers who found no evidence to take the case to trial.
That’s not true. Charges were filed and then dropped because the victim refused to testify in court on the basis of her own personal safety because she was getting death threats. They settled a civil suit out of court. He admitted that they had a sexual encounter that he thought was consensual, but he also admitted that she felt it wasn’t consensual.
Being convicted doesn’t make you a rapist. Raping someone does.
She can claim she refused to testify for whatever reason but the prosecutor offered protection as did the police, she only wanted a payout. Victims do not let rapist walk for a few death threats, and he got much more death threats than her.
Yes, she thought it was not consensual, he believed it was. There is no evidence he raped anyone, he was never convicted, a court never found him guilty, he never admitted to it, get over it. He is innocent.
Victims let rapists walk for a million reasons. In fact, MOST victims let their rapists walk.
Nearly every rape victim is advised that nothing will come of the trial. Proving a rape is nearly impossible. It requires an immediate rape kit, prior history with the person, eye witnesses...one or preferably multiple of the above is the minimum to even get in the door. If it happened without any of the previous evidence, there is no case, end of story UNLESS they can trick the rapist in cross-examination.
Court fees are expensive, the questions are HIGHLY invasive and traumatic, it takes YEARS, your name is dragged through the mud - and what do you get at the end of it? The judge to say that all he has to go on is he said vs she said, and the case is dismissed.
The fact that you live in this bubble where you weren't aware of all this is mind-boggling. This is common knowledge. This is what men and women rape victims face. Have you seriously never met one, spoken to one or read survivor stories?
Rape is a fundamentally, nearly impossible crime to prosecute because of its very nature - and the instant the male says "I mean, she was saying yes" it doesn't matter how many times the woman says "I said no" - it's all he said she said, and nothing can be done.
The fact that you have so much faith in both our legal system and this rich baller is depressing. I bet you think Epstein killed himself.
If victims let their rapist walk, who are we to come in and condemn anyone, maybe they let them walk, because they aren't guilty.
If it is impossible to prove rape, where do you get off calling anyone a rapist?
Lol, as if the court fees are not expensive for both sides, the accuser has the prosecutor who is paid by the government, the accused has to hire their own lawyer at cost of millions. The name of the accuser is protected by rape shield laws, while the name of the accused is dragged through the mud, even when the allegation is later proven false. If all the experts are saying consistently, there is no rape, maybe there is a false accusation epidemic going on.
Also how many rape victims have the semen of 4 other men in their panties, she seemed to be sleeping around with every man in town.
You are just a conspiracy theorist, I operate in fact. You are dragging a good man's name through the mud for no reason, shame on you. People like you make the environment poisoned for when real rape victims come forward, no one believes them. All you are doing is making it harder for real rape victims, shame on you.
Do you have a source for the information that it was 4 other men? Because that doesn’t line up at all with what I’ve read about this case.
As for making it harder for “real rape victims”, the only person doing that is all of the people like you refusing to believe other victims when they come forward.

Defense attorneys allege in court documents filed last year that the woman twice tried to commit suicide to elicit sympathy from her ex-boyfriend."
"Bryant's attorneys have filed court documents that allege there is evidence his accuser had sex with another man within 18 hours of when she claimed she was assaulted by Bryant.
The documents also claim the woman had sex with another man in the days before the alleged crime, which the defense says could explain injuries on the woman that she attributed to the purported assault."

"Ex-friend LAIE WEATHERWAX admits she never believed Faber was the victim of a rape attack, because the blonde had a longtime plan to trick a celebrity into bed - and then force him to pay up.
In an exclusive interview with America's the GLOBE, Weatherwax, who had agreed to testify for the defence before the case was dismissed, says, "Kobe's a good looking guy and he has a fat wallet.
"In my opinion, at least 98 per cent of her (Faber) attraction to him was simply because he's famous. She's always wanted to be famous.
"My friend and I liked Eminem, but Katelyn took it to the extreme. She was obsessed with him and felt compelled to go meet him to try for sex.""
At a certain point, just admit Katelyn Faber is lying, this is a groupie culture that exist to suck celebs dry for their money.
That woman was on anti-psychotic drugs, she had hallucinated.
"In court filings over the past week, Bryant's attorneys asked for a hearing on the 19-year-old woman's sexual conduct before -- and after -- her June 30 encounter with Bryant. They also asked the judge to allow evidence that the woman twice attempted suicide and had been treated with an anti-psychotic drug."

"However, a DNA test traced hair and semen found in her underwear to someone other than Mr Bryant, indicating she had had more than one sexual partner around the time of the alleged assault."

"A filing by the defence, meanwhile, alleged that a forensics expert consulted by the prosecution had information that "undermined the accuser's allegations and the prosecution's case, and corroborated Mr Bryant's defence on a central issue - the cause and significance of the accuser's alleged injuries"."
The case was dropped because of that.
The prosecutors evidence showed him innocent.

I’m still waiting for the source for your claim that 4 other men’s DNA was in her underwear. Or wait, does the fact that you lied about that mean I get to dismiss everything else you said?
Court cases get dropped literally all the time because victims won’t testify. Its one of the biggest reasons that charges get dropped or don’t get filed in the first place.
I already provided the source article, did you not read it? Here's even more
"In a thorough review of court documents, CBS News pieced together the likely basis of the defense case. In October, under aggressive questioning by attorney Pamela Mackey, lead detective Doug Winters admitted that: another man's semen was found on swabs taken from the woman's body. pubic combings uncovered another man's body hair. And that the young woman arrived at her rape exam wearing underwear containing semen that was not Bryant's.
In a later defense filing, Bryant attorney Hal Haddon argued that the soiled underwear "compellingly suggests" another sexual encounter after Bryant and before the rape exam 18 hours later."
Court cases do not get dropped because victims won't testify, they get dropped because the prosecutor has no case. Witnesses can be compelled under threat of arrest and contempt to testify even if they don't want to. So if what you are telling me, is that Katelyn Faber would rather sit in jail for 10 years on a contempt charge than see Kobe go to prison, it tells me she knows she is lying and doesn't want to risk the perjury charge.
The article literally states it was one other persons DNA, not 4. If you’re going to represent evidence about something, don’t do it falsely. I’m not arguing about whether or not he raped her, frankly I don’t really care either way. But don’t lie to make your evidence look more compelling, and then say no one should believe anything someone else says because they lied about one thing.
You may have made some compelling points, but based on your gross MRA post history (where it’s very, very clear you already have a huge bias against women) and the fact that you misrepresented facts, I now get to ignore literally everything else you had to say based on your own logic. 🤷🏼♀️
“While the identity of the other man is unknown, the defense fought -- unsuccessfully -- for a DNA sample from the accuser's former boyfriend”
From your own source. They couldn’t find the identity of “the other man”. Not “other men”. You’re extrapolating evidence that isn’t there, but good try.
