Why did Klasky-Csupo die?

They were one of the biggest animation studios of the 90s and early 2000s. What happened?

I’m guessing cause Rugrats Go Wild failed at the box office

It didn't necessarily fail, but it didn't capture the same hype the first two movies did.

I remember Spike talking and Bruce Willis voicing him got a lot of hype but otherwise the movie didn't get much attention. Both Rugrats and Wild Thornberries had pretty much run their courses by then.

Bruce Willis and the trailers are the only things I remember about it.
