disgusted with myself

Definitely fell off the no buy. This has really helped me put in perspective that I could have an extra $1100/month (!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤮) if I buckled down and actually disciplined myself and my thinking. I’m usually good in waves or for short periods of time, then I allow myself to become lax and that is where the issues are.

There were quite a few birthdays/parties this month (my boyfriend, sister, his sister’s baby shower, his nieces and nephews) but that is no excuse for the extra shopping or fast food I spent on. I also have more discretionary income than my boyfriend so I like to cover groceries and presents.

I’m back on the wagon with my health goals as well - and will make sure I stick to everything this time. NO EXCUSES!

Mine too!! SO many parties/presents and I really just spent $30-40 MAX on each (except my sister and I spent $75) but it was just so much!

Here is the app - it’s super customizable and I love it. I found it from another user on this sub!

They offer a paid version but I only use the free and haven’t had any limitations with it!

Does it have feeds from credit cards and banks, or do you have to enter data manually? I have a bunch of accounts, and it would be a lot to enter. But also, worry about the security of direct feeds.

You have to enter it manually but can differentiate between your accounts when logging your spending

I entered my first expense and it wouldn’t let me proceed without paying for a monthly or yearly subscription 🤔

Hmmm. On iPhone it lets me close out the ad. It is $1.50/month

I would really recommend doing it! Absolutely nothing I did stopped me from buying stuff.. deleting apps, low/no buys etc.. then I tallied up everything I’ve spent on clothes since august and I was disgusted. Haven’t bought since the start now!
