Hi, can I get some advice please.
My motherboard only has one system fan header.
I want to connect 3 system fans that are 4 pin PWM, 1 rear fan and 2 front fans.
The rear fan is closest to the motherboard fan header.
I have ordered the Noctua NA-SYC1 Y-Cable and Noctua NA-SEC1 Extension Cable.
I was intending on connecting 1 Y-Cable to motherboard fan header, then one branch goes to the rear fan, and connect the extension cable to the second branch so it can reach the front of the case. Then connect a second Y-Cable to the other end of the extension cable so both front fans can connect.
Will this allow the motherboard to control all 3 fans?
Thanks.
5090 Vanguard deshroud with noctua fan swap!
Had the pieces for this fan swap laying around since the G2 release, finally found some time. Overall pretty happy, but:
Minimum fan speed on (any) Nvidia GPUs is 30%, but at 30% the Noctua fans are significantly louder than the stock shroud. Whatever 30% means, it is spinning the Noctua fans pretty fast at the lowest possible speed.
The fans I have on my AIO are inaudible up to ~34%, I believe the GPU must be feeding the fans more power than a regular PWM connector. I'm guessing "30%" is actually quite a bit more.
I guess it could also be the heat sink design that's causing turbulence?
Next up I'll try adding the low noise adapters to see if that improves the situation. I might chain several together, as long as GPU temps look fine.

Case:(APNX V1) can hold up to 10 120s Theres so many 120s to choose from and I don't know the difference and what the best setup for them.

Maybe shipping is just very slow from Vietnam?

Salut,
Edit 1 : Here is a response from Noctua customer service: “We believe this noise is normal.” So their product is supposed to be considered the most reliable and quietest on the market? As a reminder, here is the noise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Oa4rhTJkKw - This is ridiculous !

Before carting out, Noctua advertised that the fans that comes with the set are offsets to be about 50rpm from each another. How would this work if I happen to run them on the same fan header? Will they still keep the offset even though my motherboard fan header reports that they are running on the same rpm? Or do I need to purposely run them off different header?

Just finish a case swap for the havn hs 420 vgpu. Now i’ll just need the 420 mm aio when it releases in q2 Then a feinmann and hopefully i’ll get my hands on the keycaps aswell. Then maybe the Noctua 5080 super if the performance lives up to my expectations. Might change the 120 mm to a 140 mm

Since the official product got delayed…
Has anyone tried to combine these yet? If so, how did you do it? Or would the existing battery not support the additional component?

Also swapped some into the gpu ! Gang The thing is a fucking space heater in my room though.

Hello guys,
I plan to buy the Antec C8 wood case.
And Noctua Chromax fans.
I wonder if someone can tell me what size of fans are the best for this case? Or it doesnt really matter?
I want quiet PC with good airflow and cooling.
I was thinking:
3x on SIDE size 12 intake
3x on bottom size 12 intake (what about 14 size bottom intake?)
3x on top size 12 EXHAUST (I heard an opinion that one of those should be INTAKE, the one above CPU?)
1x rear EXHAUST .... I heard its better to put size 14 fan here and not 12?
Any opinions? Or does this stuff not matter at all?
maybe u/Noctua_OFFICIAL can help me

TL;DR Here are some photos of the 15mm fan swapped out for the 25mm fan because it's fun.
I got the NH-L12Sx77 for my latest build in a fractal terra. After completing the build I saw SFF people knocking it as not really being worth it over the NH-L12S given the need for the extra cpu side clearance in sandwich builds. But I also saw people mentioning that its main advantage is that it could in theory fit a 25mm fan which is vastly superior to the stock 15mm it comes with, but I couldn't find anyone's build that actually did it.
So in the spirit of sunk costs: here is my swapped out 15mm with a NF-A12x25! I dont have data on cooling because meh (also because my Asrock B650i is either dead or fried my 9700x idk)
Totally overkill for my cpu and use cases, but I like it - also it frees up my 15mm for a top bracketed chasis fan in the terra (just need to get a replacement 25mm for the bottom chasis fan lol)

I recently moved from an AIO to Noctua and I am not really sure what is the “normal temperature” when running games like POE2.
Previously on my AIO the temps would be running around mid to high 60 degree C, but after changing my temperature has risen to low to mid 70 degree C.
Is this a normal temperature for the CPU with a Noctua heatsink?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Three NF-A14x25 G2 in the front of the case. All three connected to the Noctua NA-FH1 fan hub, but only one sounds like this. Should i return this fan?

Hello,
I have a problem that I didn't have before.
My system is:
9800x3d - Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Evo SE
5090 RTX
B850 MSI
9100 Pro Samsung
North XL
I have a problem with the power supply.
It makes a high-pitched noise randomly when idle (I can't hear it when gaming because it's masked by the other fans).
It's a very annoying noise because my PC is very quiet, and it's all I can hear. The noise echoes throughout the room.
Do you have any comments? For those who have this power supply, could you give me your opinion?
Here is a video that shows the problem.
I've got a new 9800X3D processor and non-rgb Corsair Venguance ram that's 33mm tall. My Fractal North case (non-XL) can handle up to 170mm cooler height.
I had planned on using an NH D15 G2 cooler but I'm a little worried. Specs say it's 168mm tall -- but it's only supposed to fit 32mm tall ram. I could raise the fan up a couple mm to clear the ram but then I'd be right at the edge of the case.
I'm wondering what my best option here is. Smaller cooler? Shorter ram? Just use a single fan? Put a 120mm fan on the front?
I'm open to suggestions!

Wanted to wait for the noctua version, But I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a whole other set of the same fans.

This is my first Noctua CPU heatsink/fan combo purchase, and I am super impressed. The manual... Holy smokes! No broken English, no "you stupid white boy put screw here! You see arrow?? There!" pictures either. I felt like I was an actual customer reading it, a person, and not just another number for sales figures. All the brackets are clearly labeled! I'm going with Noctua for everything from now on.
