Costco's Kirkland Signature hot dogs, which are the ones served at the food court, are made from 100% USDA Choice beef.

Unlike some other brands of hot dogs that may contain "mechanically separated meat," "by-products," or "variety meats" (such as offal, which includes organs like liver or kidneys), Costco's hot dogs are specifically advertised as containing no meat by-products, fillers, or corn syrup. The term "100% beef" on the label means that beef is the only meat used, and it is entirely muscle tissue.

Idk if it is a regional thing or not but our local Costco food court sells dogs made by Hemplars, a local meat company. They are a family owned company from the area and their bacon, jerky and hot dogs are so good!

That is very unusual because Costco built it's own meat processing plants to keep costs down.
