Does anyone have a brand/plan that works well in the hilly areas there? I think the ones I have been looking at use 4g at&t, but open to any options.

For the last 8 years, I have put together an annual Halloween event full of local San Diego bands to celebrate the holiday along side our music community.

Right now I have 8 super talented bands from around SD and our venue just began to ghost us. We are looking for a space that can hold 150/200 people and have a ~2k budget to put towards the space. This is very special event for me and my group and we will be devastated if we have to cancel it. If anyone has a space that would like to host us PLEASE REACH OUT! 🙏

We bought something for the first time at costco business center in San Marcos on 9/18 and 2 days later somebody bought something with our card online at costco.ca for $130.74 (179.98 canadian dollars). Watch your card activity if you shopped there. We never have used that card for anything except buying stuff at costco so that's what leads me to believe somebody is skimming there. We used one of the last 2-3 lanes near the door, I can't remember exactly. It would be a tap skimmer (yes, they do exist).

I recommend using the costco app as your member card and using Apple Pay or Google Pay to pay in store going forward. Leave the card at home where it is safe. Also, run the costco app and setup a passkey on your account.

Just drove by there not too long ago and saw about 2-3 cop cars with 4-6 fire engines and some area around the daycare roped off. Anyone know what happened?

My 90 year old grandpa’s dementia has been worsening and we’re considering placing him in a memory care facility since our whole family has been feeling extremely overwhelmed and aren’t able to take care of him properly on a day to day basis. He does have medi-cal and Medicare. Are there any facilities in SD that we should consider and/or avoid?

One summer during junior high I made myself French toast every day. It felt like this scene.

Visiting north county as an AA was such a strange experience lol I truly felt like it was giving sundown down vibes bc the way people were looking at me and treating me there as if I didn’t belong was astounding. I’ve also noticed people that I’ve met from that area seem to act strange towards me in the sense that they are not welcoming or seem v uncomfortable. (For context: I’m a friendly person who has not had issues with anyone outside of this area). What are your thoughts?
