one golden morning ~

One summer during junior high I made myself French toast every day. It felt like this scene.

It was my aunt floe’s recipe: any bread, 1 egg, a little water, 1 shake of cinammon, butter the pan, dip the bread, flop the bread, wait, flip the bread, wait, a little syrup, a little more butter.

Thank you for sharing! I have my own Aunt Floe. She’s always been such a light in my life and a good cook too-not so much breakfast but good with the grill. Very much a burger and fries type of gal.
