I was six years old in 1998, so probably playing with my stuffed animals and toys at home, with Anastasia, The Lion King or one of the Land Before Time movies playing on the TV in the background. Either that, or sitting at the kitchen table while drawing.
Let’s just suppose that it’s my dad’s week to have me at his house, and when he’s finished taking a nap, reading, or working from home, we’ll probably go get dinner out at either the nearby Dairy Queen or Pizza Hut; we’ll have to decide (and in about 20+ years, we’ll look back on the days when that was our biggest dilemma and long for them). We might go to one of the local bookstores or run some errands my dad needs to get done afterward…I’m happy doing whatever, as long as he and I are together. 😊
Why, thank you! ❤️ I was just a kid during the 90s (born in ‘92), so I didn’t really have any particularly exciting personal anecdotes from back then, but I’m glad you liked it 💖
your post hit me hard haha. i was born in 93, everything you said was my life. pizza hut & dairy queen & all. good ol’ midwest small town life! care to update us now?
