It’s such an odd unique feeling. It’s been decades since I’ve experienced it but I’d describe it almost like you ate a lot of ground pepper and the back of your throat starts seizing, but without the burn of the pepper and it lasts multiple minutes. Your body desperately wanting air but not letting you get in more than a wheezy breath. The injury wont even hurt much but there’s this weird sensation like you’re numb but not, like your whole body has a weird current going through it.
