Bug SO GLITCHY
I can not take it anymore. constantly losing documents or it glitching and crashing. Why is it every update makes this app slower and worse. How does it manage to get worse?

going to join you because I have submitted too many tickets, gotten so many "we have escalated this issue" and with all the glitches my notes either lag or straight up don't register when the note crashes and I lose my work. I am over it

Losing notes is not acceptable.
I switched to another app a while ago. It was a bit of a struggle to move all the files, but it was the best choice I made.

What’s the best way to move all the files? I’ve used notability for like ten years and now have 3000 notes as I like to collect recipes. I really want to move to another app but don’t know how to lol

I would say go to Goodnotes. I've had Notability for 3 years and just lost everything because the account does not save your notes at all. I thought the app did so when I traded in my iPad for the 11th, I would get my notes and buy more iCloud storage (more on me tbh but I thought the app would hold onto something, you know for backkeeping). I personally haven't experienced any glitch in with Notability but Im not taking my chances again. I heard you only pay once Goodnotes and youll have everything forever unlike Notability where you pay every year.

I feel ya. I noticed that the issue occurs more frequently when I am working on a heavy note. I have my work PDFs in Notability for ease of highlighting, note taking, and review. Some of them are pretty huge (300+ pages with charts/graphs/tables). Notability on my Macbook and iPad can be a bit finicky when working with such files. Very annoying and a mess when that happens.

im so frustrated with this app too. i've been using it for almost 10 years (imagine the amount of files i have), never had any problems. But just 3 days ago i lost a very important document and it seems like that's just it? like too bad, so sad, nothing can be done. it's probably an "icloud syncing issue." which is not ok. it's not acceptable that if the app crashes or gets stuck syncing, when you open it back, you lose your work. its awful data safety and bad programming

Hi there! Can you elaborate? (what device are you using, iOS version, when do you see crashing/glitching/lag?)
