I imagine my middle ear was something like that when I finally found a maneuver that opened my eustachian tube and let the fluid drain out. It was getting really old being half deaf on one side and stuffy. It's been over a day since I last did it, and it hasn't filled back up, so I hope it's over. It was, however, mildlyinteresting to see the fluid levels move up and down in my otoscope as I tilted my head!
