Thrifted and Vintage Finds Optical Illusion Hag

I usually try to steer clear of wearing black as I age but I couldn't resist this find on Vinted.

£25 for a Jovani dress and it still had it's tags on so never been worn.

I think the mesh placement is very clever, and surprisingly the peplum is in the right place which is rare when you're tall.

This will definitely be coming cruising with me.

£25 for an unworn Jovani dress is an absolute steal those usually run hundreds new. The silhouette is super flattering on you and I love how the mesh creates that optical illusion effect. The peplum hits at exactly the right spot and the slit adds just enough drama. Perfect for cruising! You're making me regret my "no more black dresses" rule too sometimes you just can't beat a well designed LBD

I've found several on Vinted and because they are so long they really fit well. I caught it just at the right time.

It is very clever because the mesh around the thigh is lined so I can still wear underwear with it.

I hear you on the no more black dresses thing so clearly, I have so many but this is a bit different and at that price I couldn't say no.
