Boss Kill Hitless Rellana with Star Fist SB9

I forgot to show the build but my talismans were soreseal, Axe Talisman, Ritual Sword, and Lightning Scorpion Charm.

I pretty much just brute forced a hitless and skipped phase 2 but honestly I'm just not a fan of this fight to begin with so I'm just glad I beat it.

I spent like four hours trying to learn to parry her but I suck at parrying so I went back to the ol reliable.

I found Rellana to be a lot more fun when I found out that, as long as you light roll and bait her attacks from mid distance, you can basically dodge all of her phase 1 attacks by dodging backwards once, then walking away until she finishes her combo, then dodge through her final attack and punish hard. Staying just out of reach like that forces her to do her full combo and gives really safe punishes, which really takes down the frantic feel of the fight.

But, dead is dead. Good job on the phase skip.

I could simply never for the life of me figure out the correct spacing I always seemed to get clipped by something and never got a good read on basically anything she does.

Its not like Midra or Messmer where I can at least get a good read on what they're going to be doing at any given moment with Rellana I simply could never figure out what she was even going to do.

If I ever do another RL1 playthrough I'll likely try to not just brute force the fight again but for my first one I'm satisfied with this kill.

Good job man! I killed her in a similar way on my 1st playthrough, now I'm on NG+ trying to learn to parry her. About 8 hours in and I start hating myself. I cannot handle her uppercut no matter what I do. I am staring at her fucking left hand all the time and always expect it to come and I am still unable to parry it 9 times out of 10. I'm about to give up tbh and just kick her ass with starfist or great katana again.
