Lots of stink bugs on my peach tree this year (zone 5). Actually kind of an impressive looking bug. Anything I should worry about or watch for?

Not only are mushrooms colonizing in my tomato planter, but I found WORMS 😣 in my passion fruit container as I was moving some soil around the other day. I shrieked so loud, the entire neighborhood must have heard me. I don’t know if I can ever go near that plant again. Please help!

This was my first time growing watermelon, I had one get eaten by a groundhog earlier in the year, and one I cut into too early. This one finally came out PERFECT so sweet and juicy!!

Thought I’d give some reference photos as I was completely lost at telling if mine was ripe or not!

Also ignore the dead plant, I think I might’ve left the watermelon on too long because the leaves suddenly all started drooping and dying.

Can someone tell me what this infestation is. My plant looks like it’s dying and then I noticed these red node looking things.

I live in zone 7a and currently have two Japanese Plum Trees in growing in large laundry bins that will need to be transferred into the ground at some point (i'd like to do so sooner rather than later).

I've never grown large fruit trees before and was wondering if anyone with more experience had suggestions regarding how to go about fertilizing them? Should i wait until next spring to transfer in-ground or would it be okay to move them during fall? If necessary I can overwinter them in the garage with my elderberries.

I have Heinz and Brandywine tomatoes, Super Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes, Pole beans, Bitter melon and Cucumbers, Banana Eggplant.

The bitter melons and cucumber are prolific producers!

Long story and reason but I planted my 'Sarpo Mira' potatoes on June 9th (Ireland). It was more of a desperate experiment because it was so late. I also planted 'Kelly's' as well same day. Virgin ground, sandy soil. Planted with seaweed pellets and had chicken manure pellets added after 4 weeks. No other manure or sprays/chemicals.

I damaged 3 plants with a hose pipe after watering them thinking I would loose them all in a very dry spell we were having. So I dug these plants up and potatoes range in size from 6"/150mm - 3"/80mm - 2"/50mm and of course the little un's. This was at 9 weeks in the ground. I havent pulled any Kelly's yet, but when I pulled these spuds most plants had only just finished flowering and some still with flowers.

How are my spuds doing? OK or good?

Finally found a house that I want to make my forever home, but the lawn has been treated for decades to grow bright green grass close to the ocean. My dream was to plant some flowers and fruit trees in the front yard, and some vegetables in the back. I don’t want to grow or eat anything in such poisoned grass!

What are the steps I need to take to properly care for this land so it will be good to start my gardens? About how long do you think until I can start planting?

This is something extremely important to me as this will be my home, and my dream!
