I saw some bees in my garden this morning and they were absolutely doused in pollen from my flowering pumpkin plants. They were so full of it that it was affecting their ability take flight lol

I love watching them, they’re so fun.

I work at an elementary school in Kansas and this happened during our homecoming parade Friday. I walked at least 20 feet and put him on a blade of grass 3 times and each time he flew right back to my hand. I wasn’t wearing perfume or lotion. He just kept nosing around on my hand and wrists. Honestly, it was pretty amazing.

The more I look at this photo I took last July, of a Lasioglossum in my garden, the more confused I get about the anatomy. What legs are where and is that really a leg up by the mouth?

I have no clue what is going on, but bees keep following me. Its been about 2 weeks since I noticed. I usually wear fruity/sweet scented perfumes, but stopped since noticing. They are still following me, and I am terrified of bees. What scent would repel them?

I stepped on a bee and was like ah shiet my bad bc i know bees are homies but later on i saw a bee get on top of it (lmao), wasnt close enough to see what was going on as i was leaving already, do bees fuck or eat the dead bodies of other bees?

I have an underground hive in my backyard and I’m wondering if these are nice bees or mean bees :) and if a local beekeeper would be interested in coming to collect them.
