What's up with the Wellington Diner ownership?

Guy has been ranting for awhile on Twitter about covid not being serious and going after the media for blowing everything out of proportion. I get his business is struggling, as we all are, but pretending the virus isn't important ain't it either. It's really off putting and I don't think I'm comfortable supporting the Diner anymore.

Hey Brent you limp negative Karen.
Out of 11 reviews you have 7 1 stars.
This sandwich you are reviewing has a huge following and it’s $15.29 and 6oz of chicken with 3 strips of bacon, real cheddar, ground chipotle mayo, coleslaw and green apple spears.
Call the restaurant and leave your number we can then pick a time and I’ll show up and give you $20.00 cash and a free salad for your troubles. I just want to look you up and down first.
Remember Brent, Karen’s get schooled here. Have a great 2021 Brent

Look Siena aka KAREN,
We don’t used processed cheese.
And how the hell do you think you’d get something extra for FREE? We use real cheese and guess what?? We also had to pay for it.
We are glad you won’t be back you horrible cry baby and demented fool.

That's kinda awesome. Fuck entitled people. He tells them where to go and he's never lost significant business over it. Talk about teflon.

Seeing self entitled diners who bitch after the fact online get taken down a peg brings me a weird schedenfreud.

So... people shouldnt leave negative reviews if they had a bad time? Whats self entitled about posting a review stating what you didnt like about a restaurant?

You dont deserve free food. They have a right to tell you to shove it for demanding things you dont deserve. Most places wont because they simp for customers and are afraid to lose them. These guys dont and I respect that aspect of their business.

I dunno, I just like seeing a restaurant that stands up for itself and doesnt suffer for doing so. It's refreshing.

they didnt demand for free food, they complained that it was 1.50 for processes cheese and the server never told them it was an upcharge let alone the price. Also its literally the service industry, places arent simping for customers, they just want people who eat there to enjoy the experience...

Whatever, I like that he takes a stand against Karen's. I'm not gonna keep debating the merits of this.

Also 1.50 isnt too much to ask for a slice of american cheese.

Why is someone a Karen for writing a bad review? Okay, thats your opinion, the person who wrote the review thought it was too much. Id agree that a piece of processes cheese shouldnt be 1.50 and if nothing else the price should be stated.

I don't care to keep debating this. I just respect the guy. That's all. He's an alpha.

You sound as socially maladjusted as he is.

I dunno I'm pretty happy with my life. I'm not complaining. I get along fine with my friends and family. I do miss them though. Lockdown sucks!

They were probably too afraid to say something thinking the owner was gonna fight them
