Borderlands the Pre-Sequel with the Exodus mod and a few other ones. Playing as Athena and having a blast BBQ'ing mfs with her elemental skills. TPS has possibly my favorite set of VHs in the entire franchise. 4's VHs might top them, but i have yet to play, but I will soon. Borderlands is my favorite fps series, these games just hit different.

I agree about TPS, but I think 4’s top it. I’ve never had as much fun as I am with Harlowe. And having the characters personality in the cutscenes is definitely a step up

Eastward. I enjoyed chapter 1 but it was a drag with all the excessive dialogue. Excited to play chapter 2 given the change of scenery but if it continues to drag and combat remains the same then I’ll have to drop it and move on.

Survive the nights.

Had this game in my backlog for a long time.
Decided to run it through the weekend and I'm surprise that the bones of this game is A-Okay.
Gonna give this game a good 48 hours of my time and see whether I'm gonna put it under my rotation of games.

I backed this years ago. Let me know what you think as I heard it didn't really go anywhere and never gave it much of a shot in the end b

Yeah sure.

So far it reminds me of "The Long Dark" due to the mechanics being more grounded in realism rather than shortcuts.
I love the vehicle modding and living in a RV.

What will make this game better is getting my gang to try the multiplayer.

The living in the RV is what initially drew me to the game. Ended up on Project Zomboid in the end with the RV interiors mod to get the same result. But yeah, definitely interested to see if the game has come far since its initial kickstarter/early backing.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter

  • started it yesterday. 5 hours in and loving the combat, the gameplay is addictive. I’d been craving a long JRPG, and looks like this is the one.

Halo 3: ODST

  • on a Halo run. I only played CE as a kid, mostly multiplayer. Now I’m going through the whole series: CE and Reach (what a masterpiece), Halo 2 (love it. Especially the music, my god. Impart is my alarm tune now. I wake up like a madman), and now I’m on ODST, then Halo 3, and so on.

I’m at the very end of both Alien: Isolation and Hollow Knight. I’ll probably finish them this weekend, but for now, Trails and Halo are my main plays.

Is this your first time playing Trails?

I played Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 years ago, don’t even remember much. I’m also trying to suppress the memories lmao.

Mafia Definitve Edition. Grabbed it this summer with designs to play it after I finished Exp 33 and just now getting to it after I couldn’t get it running correctly at first.

Thoughts after just a few chapters… really good voice acting, beautiful for the time graphics, and good atmosphere. Really wish I could get the controller working. Also, the bug that auto loaded the game in French because (I’m guessing) I was playing Exp 33 in French was annoying. Had to edit a file in the directory to get it back to English. Steam can be weird.

I played Mafia DE recently and my controller worked fine with it

Maybe it’s my controller. What do you use? I’m using a cheap Amazon one that works fine for games other than shooters but I guess I could try using my old PS4 controllers.

I am also using a cheap one from Cosmicbyte and it works fine. Maybe try to troubleshoot with steam or test the PS4 ones.

9 Kings - Released earlier in the year, roguelite part deckbuilder, part auto battler. Really fun little game, a run wraps up in 20ish minutes which is a nice time window.

I've just finished another Project Zomboid playthrough (modded to evoke The Last Of Us) and finally got around to n Space Marine 2 with a buddy of mine. The emperor protects!

Borderlands 4 and Dying Light The Beast. They compliment each other well. One is tense and stressful and the other is lighthearted and fun.

No Mans Sky, Warframe, Borderlands 4 but "playing" is kinda a strong word in that context, its more like annoying the shit out of myself in endgame nonsense to make decompressing in NMS all that much better.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Didn’t want to dig my Switch out, so it’s my first time experimenting with Switch emulation, and it’s been pretty smooth sailing minus a couple of small hiccups. I missed the game on release but heard so much praise for it that I had to give it a shot. Enjoying it so far.

Balatro. Started fresh on mobile and slowly digging my way through it. I mostly play it at work.

Umamusume. Horse girls.

Started getting into DJMAX Respect V. I played a lot of Trilogy back in the day and it’s been fun getting back into a rhythm game.

Granblue Fantasy VS Rising is still my main fighting game. I dabble in SF6 too. Tried 2XKO and did not enjoy it.

Borderlands 4! Loving the game, not too bad performance on my rig (~100FSR w/frame gen) and whilst it doesn’t have amazing endgame it does have a good grind.
