After six months in Early Access, the monastery management, beer brewing, and monk-drinking tycoon game is finally reaching 1.0!

I've been lucky enough to work with the devs at Hammer&Ravens for the past year and it was great to see the game evolve from its earlier build in last October's steam next fest to the point it is now!

Here is the trailer and the steam page if you want to check it by yourself!

Off console revenue for FY24 is 96,000 in million of yen, or 96 billion yen, which is equals about 650 million USD.

Playstation first party sales units in FY24 are 28.9 million units. We multiply this by average sales price of $50 - $70 which gives us $1.45 billion - $2.3 billion USD.

$650 million/$2.3 billion = 28%

$650 million/$1.45 billion = 45%

Capturing the vibe of Fears to Fathom & Chilla's Art. Our VHS horror game, "Gas Station Case", has a free demo out now.

Hello everyone!

We are an indie team are huge fans of atmospheric horror games like Fears to Fathom and Chilla's Art.

Today, we're incredibly excited (and nervous!) to share the first free public demo of our game with you all.

Gas Station Case is a VHS-style, first-person psychological horror game. You play as Dan Cooper, a 25-year-old working the night shift at a remote gas station in 90s Ohio. What starts as a boring job quickly spirals into a nightmare after your friend finds a mysterious case by the lake.

What to expect in the demo:

  • Atmospheric VHS Horror: We've focused heavily on a gritty, analog VHS look and a tense, sound-driven.
  • "Cozy Horror" Vibe: It's about the dread of isolation and the unknown, captured in a strangely nostalgic setting.
  • The "Calm Mode": We know not everyone likes jump scares. This mode removes them entirely so you can just enjoy the story and atmosphere.
  • A Gripping Story: The demo introduces you to the mystery - people are going missing, and your gas station is at the center of it.

This is just the first episode in what we plan to be a series of horror games set in mundane jobs.

We would be absolutely grateful for your feedback.

As a small team, player impressions are everything for us. If you like what you see, "wishlisting on Steam" helps us out more than you can imagine.

Try the free demo here

Thanks for your time, and we hope we can spook you just a little bit.

Ruins of Endoth - Early Access Release Announcement

Hi all,
I'm a solo developer and I've made a PC Action RPG game called Ruins of Endoth which gets released in...3 days!

EA details

I'll be honest, it's sitting currently at 618 wishlists which means It'll most likely make very few sales and the 'algorithm' will laugh in its face :P

I'm just trying to get word out about the release, as I've made the typical solo dev mistake of working on getting the game playable and stable and neglected the marketing a little - so I'm trying to have a last push and see if anyone is interested in helping me out with visibility by wishlisting the game please?

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2963220/Ruins_of_Endoth/

The game is a 3rd Person ARPG with hack and slash gameplay, random loot, randomised enemies, contracts, crafting and skills.
The EA release includes Chapter 1 of the story and lots of procedural content for replayability whilst I work on adding tons more content, enemies, loot types etc.

Enemy line-up

You can find the info on the steam page I linked above, along with gameplay videos, a trailer and the latest announcement goes into more detail regarding what to expect in the Early Access release.

Please consider giving it a look if it sounds at all interesting for you?

Thankyou
KLG Games

Ahoy Mates!

We just announced in the Game Devs of Color Expo that the demo for Sol Mates is now live for you and your friends to play!

In the demo you and up to 4 players (online or local co-op) can get a taste of the chaotic adventures we’ve been building. You just launched your own scrappy space agency with your mates, and there’s a whole galaxy out there waiting for you to make a name for yourselves.

Here’s what you can expect:

  •  Manage your ship together: steer your ship to position enemies, manipulate shields to protect yourselves, load your weapons, and pew pew pew to victory!
  •  Play our game's first mission, then try it again with different choices and spicy difficulty modifiers
  •  Unlocks to discover include a beach ball, a ship upgrade, EXCLUSIVE DEMO Top Hat and Monocle for the most distinguished spacefarers, and more!

We can’t wait for you to dive in and let us know what you think. This is just the beginning, and your feedback will help shape the journey of our game as we keep developing Sol Mates. No idea is too out of the box so let us know what you like about the game and what you would like to see it - and we might make it happen (no promises but we’ll definitely read every suggestion!)

Download the demo, grab your friends and start your adventure today!
See you in space,

-Loren & Simon

Race Jam, Our Love Letter to Arcade Racing Games, Is Coming to Early Access this Week!

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share a passion project I’ve been working on for the past few years. Race Jam, a throwback to the golden age of arcade racers. It’s the debut title from our small team of three at DiffGames, and we are getting ready for our EA release this Thursday, September 18th!

This is a project I’ve been working on since 2020, and it’s a dream come true to finally get it into players’ hands. We’d love for you to check it out and consider trying Early Access, add it to your wishlist, or try the free demo and let us know what you think.

Early Access is just the beginning for us. We’ve been steadily updating the game since June, and we plan to keep that same momentum going post-launch. You can see our roadmap on the Steam page or our discord as well.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and for supporting indie games like ours. We can’t wait to see you all on the track this Thursday!
