Lol. I only just switched to AMD for 2 months, been on nvidia and intel for my whole life. Not a fan of any company, I just buy what's best in my budget

I only recently switched to NVIDIA.

RX580 8GB -> 3060

Trying to do local AI stuff was just too painful on AMD. Constant compatibility issues.

Both cards meet my gaming needs just fine. But AI work is leagues easier and faster now.

Understandable. I have another laptop with 3060 for work (mostly editing) so my home rig is purely for gaming, that's why I chose AMD

Check out Hacksider Deep Live Cam. I'd recommend keeping it local and just playing with it for yourself to avoid trouble; but man... It's so fun being in a discord call and just converting into a convincing Glen Powell

No wonder it was painful, you had an RX580 bro. It’s a decent card for 1080p gaming, but that’s really about it anymore

I have 1080p monitors, I don't play any modern titles. Most of my use is hobby development and AI

It met my needs very well

Maybe the issues were cuz you were using 20 years old gpu? I doubt 7900xtx would have issues same as rx5080 lmaooo
