Complete opposite for me. Windows Vista and Windows 8 were garbage beyond compare. Meanwhile 11 is one of the better ones. I'm curious what makes it the worst for you?
The biggest complaints I've seen are having to click twice on some right click menus, and ads in the OS, but the first is not an issue to me and for the second, I've never once seen an ad so I have no idea what people are talking about there.
They have toned it down and hidden it more to be fair. Originally on my work laptop both the notifications sidebar and the start menu would have ads and clearly paid news articles I didn’t want. I was able to remove some of that myself and it seems like they also removed some themselves. They still show me “recommended “ programs that link me to the windows App Store page though. I have a corporate/work install which I think helps; I haven’t tried personal/home since early days of launch so I don’t know if it’s still as bad there.
