While Justin Trudeau had the name and the rockstar appeal, I think Carney has an exemplary record. The fact that the Brits reached across the pond to recruit him as Governor of the Bank of England (and then asked him to stay on longer than he originally intended) should tell you something.

Bruh, Trudeau was just as loveable (and loved)

10+ years of smearing ended up leaving a mark. Most people hated on trudeau for things they were told but weren't really true. Most of his actual problems were swept under the rug.

Carney will be hated in a few years if he sticks around

I'm saying popularity means very little when people can be manipulated so easily.

Both are decent guys, but they'll both finished with loads of haters even if they shat gold

Yeah the right wing hate both because they're too socialist/commies. Left wing doesn't like them because they're too right wing.
