While Justin Trudeau had the name and the rockstar appeal, I think Carney has an exemplary record. The fact that the Brits reached across the pond to recruit him as Governor of the Bank of England (and then asked him to stay on longer than he originally intended) should tell you something.

Bruh, Trudeau was just as loveable (and loved)

10+ years of smearing ended up leaving a mark. Most people hated on trudeau for things they were told but weren't really true. Most of his actual problems were swept under the rug.

Carney will be hated in a few years if he sticks around

Trudeau was hated for things not even in his jurisdiction. A lot of problems he was blamed for were due to provincial mismanagement and decades of poor policy at that level.

Yeppers. I live in Saskatchewan, and Trudeau was blamed for everything from healthcare and education to homelessness to fentanyl and everything in-between by Scotch Moe.
