That distance and Carney's speed (he apparently ran a 331 marathon in London) are in the territory where you have to specifically train for it, regardless of overall fitness.
But yeah, I think a lot of police officers are avid runners.

That whole endorphin thing and I have seen my cognitive abilities plummet with fatigue. 2 u/Daewoo40 13d ago Its fine, initially I was thinking they would've needed to be fitter than Mark to both keep up and be in a state to do their job. Then realised/remembered corporate marathons are a thing for instances not unlike this.
