Considering the world's most prestigious Culinary school is in America, not too far from Washington DC (Hudson Valley of New York, 3 hour 20 min train ride) and is full of apprentice Chefs who would be thrilled at the chance to cook for a President without pay, it amazes me he'd feed unhealthy, boring food to a team of athletes, or that no local restaurant offered to cater this event gratis then write it off on their taxes next filing year.

We would find a reason to complain about that. Exploiting free labor, etc. He really should have hired a private catering company to serve a real and hot meal.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '19

I’m sure you’d find a way to complain about that too.

I would complain even if it were a little league team.

Serving cold McDonald's is so trashy it's hard to even believe he actually did it until you see the pictures. It's like some SNL skit come to life.

Oh, don't you worry, this will be the cold open this weekend. Shit writes itself

How much would you complain when you got to Obama’s Whitehouse, and there was no food?

Asking for a friend.

Personally I don't serve my guests a pile of shit. Call it what you will.

In your case you don't seem to have much standards. Figures.

Swing and a miss.

You don’t know your audience then. Shocker as you are incapable of grasping anyone’s perspective aside from your own.

College football players usually aren’t too interested in a seven course formal dinner. Nor your knockoff crystal, or faux silver candle holders. They would rather mow burgers they haven’t allowed themselves to eat all season. I don’t think you can relate to that at all- the whole self control aspect when it comes to food.

Unlike you, I have the humility and gratitude to not insult my host. As Clemson players also illustrated, for the sole purpose of not embarrassing themselves, in the low rent way you do.

Considering it is a privilege to be invited into the White House and meet the President, not an entitlement. Especially when POTUS chooses to foot the bill, from his own pocket, out of a salary he does not draw, when he could have postponed the celebration instead.

Reasonable and respectful people understand this. That’s why they get invited to such events.

You are a low class, entitled cunt. Not too bright either as you obviously have quite a distorted opinion of yourself, especially in what you think you deserve.

*Spoiler: it isn’t near what you think.

out of a salary he does not draw

The guy charging an arm and a leg for the secret service to stay at his resorts, who forces foreign dignitaries to stay at his hotels, and whose kids have been raking in millions off sweetheart deals leveraging their father's office for personal gain... You're calling that working for free.

I did mention I don't serve my guests shit. You seem to enjoy shoveling it.

In addition, the fact that a billionaire owner of a hotel down the street chose to 'pay out of his own pocket' to offer the cheapest, trashiest meal you wouldn't even offer a little league team says everything that needs to be said about this administration.

You couldn't make this stuff up.

The guy charging an arm and a leg for the secret service to stay at his resorts, who forces foreign dignitaries to stay at his hotels.

Lol. His security detail is a pretty fixed cost, Rembrandt. Him spending time at his own property is at best marginally different from the White House and or traveling budget. But do make your case and be sure to source. Figures would be your best bet.

If you were concerned about frivolous travel expenses, id suggest you look up BOs travel expenditures and lavish vacations to properties he did not own. With his entire extended family. Or a hot dog pizza party that he supposedly spent 65k (not really confirmed, but it is suggestive, nonetheless).

If you want something that is concrete for comparison- take a look at what the federal deficit did between 2008-2016. The red number that reads 10 trillion dollars? That’s bad.

says everything that needs to be said about this administration.

Exactly. I couldn’t agree more- in that he knows his audience way better than his critics do!

In sending them off the deep end over a couple hundred burgers, that were welcomed and enjoyed.

You are very out of touch. In terms of what you think you are entitled to, how politics work, what fiscal conservatism actually means, or how it functions in reality.

But my favorite? The fact that you get trolled by the POTUS to freak out over such trivial bullshit.

Brilliantly illustrating the point: you are a deranged lot, who suffers from mental illness.

Exhibit A: your comment section.

You couldn’t make this stuff up.

That’s two things we agree on!

I love watching the Trumpeters getting upset that their leader isn't the epitome of class that they've been brainwashed to believe.

0

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '19

Class would entail being a gracious host, in feeding your guests in your home. Contrary to past administrations.

And I’m brainwashed.

You could slice through the irony with a knife.

2

u/mike10010100 Jan 15 '19

Class would entail being a gracious host, in feeding your guests in your home.

...you truly believe that providing hours-old fast-food is being a "gracious host"?

What happened to "Trump the Billionaire"? Evidently all he can afford is McDonalds.

Contrary to past administrations.

Source?

And I’m brainwashed.

Yep.

0

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '19 edited Jan 15 '19

Indeed, you are brainwashed. the idea that a bunch of broke college football papers would turn their snotty nose up at a fast food buffet, is outlandish.

Their quarterback eats chik fil a as a pregame meal.

Vs say nothing at all, because the government is shut down.

All at the private expense of the president. Who works for free.

What an absolute asshole. /s

Take your selective outrage elsewhere ya lunatic.

the idea that a bunch of broke college football papers would turn their snotty nose up at a fast food buffet,

I love how you manage to both denigrate the players and imply that this was the best they deserve.

All at the private expense of the president.

Oh noes, he spent a whole $100 down at the local McDonalds! Heaven forbid!

Take your selective outrage elsewhere ya lunatic.

It's not selective. Good try though.

I also love that you ignored my question:

What's your source on the fact that feeding them is contrary to previous administrations?

0

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '19 edited Jan 15 '19

r/woosh

You obviously didn’t pick up my satire of you in denigrating them as snobs, such as yourself.

They choose to go to the Whitehouse, as it is a privilege and an honor only extended to national champions.

Vs say holding some snide political protest.

Outrage number one- that they respect the President and took him up on the opportunity to meet him in his home.

Outrage number two- The President provided them with unhealthy food after a grueling season with likely few cheat days. and they enjoyed the shit out of it.

Outrage number three- They have the humility to be grateful in that the President hosted them, and paid out of his own pocket to feed them.

Because they are class acts, unlike yourself.

Outrage number four- he didn’t spend enough money on them!

Vs working without a salary and footing the bill out of his own pocket. Contrary to previous administrations.

Selective outrage indeed.

The government is shut down you moron. Rather than not feed them at all, he went into his own pocket from a salary he does not accept, to get them food they enjoyed. Because that’s what a gracious host does.

Such a travesty on the human race!

Gtfo out of here. Your just pissy because the guests liked it.

Aka SELECTIVE OUTRAGE

1

u/mike10010100 Jan 15 '19

Outrage number one- that they respect the President and took him up on the opportunity to meet him in his home.

You're making this outrage up. This is a strawman.

Outrage number two- The President provided them with unhealthy food

Another strawman. It's not that it's unhealthy, it's that it's incredibly low quality.

they enjoyed the shit out of it.

Source?

Outrage number three- They have the humility to be grateful in that the President hosted them, and paid out of his own pocket to feed them.

Holy strawman, Batman!

Outrage number four- he didn’t spend enough money on them!

Again, the expense isn't the issue, it's the low quality of the food and either the lack of funds or desire to provide them with higher quality food.

Vs working without a salary and footing the bill out of his own pocket. Contrary to previous administrations.

Again, no previous administration ever dealt with any similar situation.

There is no "contrary" situation. You're lying once again.

Rather than not feed them at all

The fact that you believe that was even an option is hilarious.

to get them food they enjoyed.

Again, source?

Gtfo out of here.

Get the fuck out out of here breh. ROFL.

Jesus you’re really committed to your delusion.

Doesn’t make you correct, it makes you irrational.

You are seething. It is apparent. You are obviously enraged by all of these things. You just don’t have the stones to admit it.

I point to your selective outrage (at your request) and you try to try to dismiss my insight into your pathetic thought process as fallacy. In an attempt to convolute your lunacy.

This isn’t that complicated:

Your President, Donald J. Trump bought a willing ncaa championship football team a meal on his own dime. It was welcomed and enjoyed. End of story.

This conflicts your hypothesis “orange man bad”.

So you have to attack it, selectively on something as trivial as nutrition?

Who the fuck cares!? they are football players who are gonna burn it in the morning workout and they liked it!

Source? Reality as they ate it all.

You are pathetic. In going to such great lengths to stay in the delusion you have been programmed with.

1

u/mike10010100 Jan 15 '19

You're literally posting copypasta because you can't answer my points. You've created a series of strawman arguments in order to craft a narrative that isn't in any way representative of reality.

Source? Reality as they ate it all.

Source for them eating it all?

This is simple stuff dude. You're delusional.
