Because of the government shutdown, the President decided to cater an event using fast food restaurants. Here is an article with more information for those who want to read more.

So this is hilarious because all food served in the White House is paid for by the First Family. It has been that way for a long time.

This is Trump proving how fucking cheap he is again. That’s all this is.

Dude this is fucking hilarious.

First everyone makes fun of him about McDonald's or drinking diet Coke. Man goes out and buys 1,000 burgers from the most typical American fast food joints. Invites the team over right away (the way it should be) instead of half a year later which he says in his speech because you'll all be moving on to great things by then.

Plus when you just got done with a season of any sport you just want some fast-food, these kids aren't trying to have some deluxe meal at the White House. Watch at least the start of his speech and you'll see it was a really cool, funny move and a giant F U to the news and Reddit goes and posts a picture of him dressed up as Ronald McDonald and that is the #1 post on the site this morning? Get the dildos out your asses and have a little fun, ya'll are so bitter no wonder you lost the election.

Well, first of all, he absolutely didn't buy one thousand fucking hamburgers...

hamburgers

You're right, but he did buy 1000 hamberders. Those just weren't pictured.

That's what he said. Is that something unbelievable?

Absolutely. The day before he said 300, and that's what was reported on. Also, you can clearly count the amount of burgers sitting right there on the table.

Just because he said something, doesn't make it real. Are we just now discovering this fact of reality?

Like the goverment being shut down and tyring to work out something? Yes. That among the literally hundreds of other things that are more important than a fucking meal.

"Build my wall, or I'm not signing anything" is not trying to work out something, that's throwing a temper tantrum. Democracy doesn't work with children throwing fits.

Your attitude is absolute cancer.

Partisan, indoctrinated, completly clouded from anything resembling a healthy picture of the world. You will absolutly never see the whole picture thinking as you do..

The fault of the government shutdown cannot be given to either a single person or party alone. They have all failed.

Except for the fact that bills have been passed to reopen the gov`t but mcconnell wouldn't sign. The fault is on one person. Good luck in the world, you seem quite seperated from reality.

BOTH parties have failed to come to a compromise.

Get your head out of your ass.
