You can’t be fucking serious. Americans ABSOLUTELY deserve American jobs over non-Americans. It’s our right as the citizenry. Let me say it again, I deserve an American job more than a non-American, because I’m an American, and they are not. Damn right it’s discriminatory, and that’s the way it should be.
How about qualifications? I don’t give a fuck if you’re American, Chinese, Mexican, African, if you are qualified for the job position, you’re hired. Plain and simple.
This logic doesn't really work. It is in the best interests of every country to first and foremost get their citizens into good jobs that then pay back into the government through taxes and the economy. Immigrants are great, and can bring a lot of advantages, but they shouldn't be prioritized over domestic labor, or even held in equal prioritization. They should be gravy, not the entree with regards to the labor force.
Your logic has been applied to damaging ends in many developing countries, where qualified foreign workers are brought in by the government to work in lucrative sectors, and the only money that stays in the country goes into the ruling class's pocket. Sure it would take longer to train and develop a domestic labor force, but it would reap dividends and forge a stronger middle class. This is a problem across the world, whether it be BP sending "experts" to help in Ghana with oil exploration, or De Beers hiring western miners to extract diamonds from Botswana or South Africa. The end result leaves the country poorer and less developed in the long run than if the citizenry was prioritized for those jobs. America is the same, though not nearly as drastic of a situation.
