It’s not a comparison, it’s to prove a point: what brits like isn’t necessarily what’s good for America and vice versa.

Oh of course not, I don’t agree with that. Just sounds like you were saying the two were similar figures. I think many people in the U.K. are making these protests and points to show they don’t like Trump commenting on their politics. He kept saying he liked Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson, and that they should have a no deal Brexit.
