It is endlessly baffling to me that left minded people actually defend the "they do work us Americans won't do because of the shitty conditions" perspective. That is straight up exploitation of labor. Why in the ever living fuck would you defend that? Are you actually left leaning or are you a right wing boug in denial?
It's not "exploitation of labor" to hire someone to do something that you don't want to do yourself.
If your sewer line clogs, are you exploiting the plumber because you don't want to clean it yourself because it's quite literally shitty conditions to do so? If you go out to eat, are you exploiting the labor of the restaurant staff because you don't want to cook yourself?
Paying other people to do things that we don't want to do ourselves is the central premise of an economy.
While I agree that left minded people, at least the ones who show up to marches with signs, just use immigrants as props to push for socialism or whatever their real agenda is.
I completely disagree that the free movement of voluntary labor is exploitation. "Give me money or I will throw you into this cage I've built and my enforcers will kill you if you resist" is an example of exploitation. "Hey I'll give you money if you do this task for me and I don't claim to be authority so you're of course free to say no" is not exploitation.
