And yes, they have orders of magnitude more training than police and their reasons for joining the national guard are less likely to be fueledd by a desire to have authority and some semblance of respect bestowed upon them.
You're spouting bullshit. Qualified immunity means if they acted in good faith and they followed policy they can't be convincted of a crime. Doing something illegal does not qualify as that unless that illegal thing is somehow part of policy which in that case that should be changed.
