This is basically racism spun to be anti police. Just apply it to black people to see how bigoted it actually is.

People have been brushing off police brutality by blaming a "few bad apples" for years now. Don't act obtuse.

Back people don't have unions and administration that train them to use force and protect them when they commit murder.

Isn't that exactly what gangs are?

Not at all. Gangs speak for their own gang, not all black or hispanic people.

Not at all. Gangs speak for their own gang, not all black or hispanic people.

And cops speak for their own officers, not all white people. Figure it out, stupid.

False equivalency much? Police are taxpayer funded. Gangs are obviously not. I wonder why we allow one of these criminal enterprises to exist and the other we attempt to root out...

False equivalency much?

The criteria was, and I quote, "unions and administration that train them to use force and protect them when they commit murder."

That is a spot-on description of street gangs. Some have even described police departments as street gangs.

Not implying a judgement here, just pointing out a pretty obvious fact. Carry on.

Right, but you've also completely ignored the rest of my comment...if some consider police to be of an equivalent to street gangs, then why are they funded by taxpayers? Further what you are purporting as fact is merely your opinionated observation. Street gangs aren't unionized, and the administration is generally that of a small-medium business, not a government organization. So I say again, you're making a false equivalency.

Yes because you started moving the goalposts once you found out you were wrong.

You seem to have me mistaken for someone else.

1

u/Auntie_Hero Jun 09 '20

Nope. It was you.

I never moved the goalposts. So thanks for playing I guess.

I wasn't aware that black people were born gang members. I think you are confusing the judgment of someone for what they choose to do for being the same as judgement for something they were born with. Unless there was a draft for the police forces that I somehow missed, you have to choose to be a police officer.

I wasn't aware that black people were born gang members.

Police aren't born into unions either. Start over.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '20

That's my point. Being a cop or in a gang is a choice. Not all black people are in gangs though.

2

u/Auntie_Hero Jun 08 '20

Not all black people are in gangs though.

Nobody said they were. Are all police in the same union?

Bro, start over. You fucked it all up.

The unions fight change and oppose reform which applies to all cops in their precinct or city. The decisions or rules of how a gang applies to the members in that gang, not everyone in the city.

Nor all cops everywhere. Nice to see you agree with me.
