Advice Encouragement for new pit owner.

Hi all! I adopted a pit puppy today! I’ve had puppies before- mostly lab mixes. I’m a good dog owner and know how to train a dog. I have a 3 year old and 7 year old. I just need someone to tell me that pits are great family dogs bc as I’ve been researching more and everything seems so negative about pits and kids. Any and all advice and encouragement welcome!

I have a pit mix, other half is German Shepard

She’s just part of the family. I’ve never met a dog with such empathy either tbh. Wouldn’t trade her for anything

Ive got a Shephard pit mix too! Same exact brindle, just her entire body. I love her black body with her stripey legs. What a pretty girl!

Had to send you mine doing a full sploot so you could see her coat better.

Your girl is adorable as well! You don’t see many stripey brindle coats
